Note: this is not a haters post, nor do I intend to make fun of Tom Kaulitz. This is a mere simple speculation on the way he does this. Accordingly to the headlines he makes.

Mr. Kaulitz has a way of doing things, that seem to be the road for a lifetime, Rock Star status, Ladies men, Role model, and a very good person to qualify for the best big twin brother. How does he do it? Well that is a good question. I am a big fan of Tom, and I have followed his carreer from the very beginning. For 7 years it was a upward clim for Tom and his Rock Band " Tokio Hotel " Earning them the titels of the pioneers for young adult rock of the century. (have to check on that one)
Tom is known to be the boss of the band. Although his little twin brother Bill Kaulitz is the face for the band, and might be even more popular. Tom is the one calling the shots.

1. Have passion for the things you do.
Tom puts all his love, heart and soul into his music. From 6 years old he began to develop his interest in music. Thanks to his stephfather he was able to get a hold of a guitar and other instruments. So he was able to develop his talent.
Tom's most precious possesions are his guitars. He spends a fortune on new gibsons, picks, custom made guitars, cases, snares.... amphilers....

He calls them his " girlfriends"
On tour, Tom always gives his fans some fanservice with his guitars

2. Have your own style, and stick with it.
Throughout the years. Tom has had 3 types of different hairstyles, and 2 types of clothing styles.
He stated ones: I am a grandpa if comes to changing my style.
Ones I have something that I like, I do not need to change. I am happy with what I wear"

In the beginning of his bands career. He became famous with wearing blond dreadlocks and baggy jeans and oversized shirts and always wearing hats and headbands to hide a piece of his forehead.
This gave him the appearance of a gangster and a playboy.
It fits him natrually. He also said once that he doesn't like it when clothes are to tight. He likes loose fitting clothing. So the baggy gangster look fits him perfect.


3. Be confident.
Tom always caries himself with an air of confidence.
This is not a fake hot air. He IS confident in everything he does.
Tom has a natural instinct for solving cases revolving his band. And answering tough papparazzi questions.
Of course he always has his little brother and other band members to back him up.
But most of the time Tom knows how to talk himself out of a bad situation.

4. Be good looking.
Okay. I don't really know if Tom is aware that he is good looking...oke maybe I do.

He always takes good care of himself, and he is a clean person.
Taking care of yourself and have good hygiene always lead to looking healthy and groomed.
So that is one thing to always keep in the back of your mind.
Tom is also very vain. Although he would like to admit he isn't but he is for sure.
He is also a shoe addict. He has over 300 pair of shoes if we must believe this video:

5. Use your good looks.
Tom is a flirt, a real ladies men.
He even flirts with interview ladies.
He is also known as a real playboy.
There is a rumor that in the first week / month after the release of their first single he has slept with over 50 girls. He doesn't deny the rumor but at the same time he never claimed it to be true.
There are a few photos of him spotted with girls. But never was there a real person claiming to have slept with the rockstar.
In fact he has a big mouth but when it comes to the point he always blushes and pipes down a bit.

But maybe it is true, who knows. He looks good, so there is no denying that he might use his charm for the greater good, or personal gain.

6. Always put your band / passion first.
This is a qoute that is Tom's life rule.
Everything he does is for his band. And never will he do anything if he is not 100% convinced that it is for possitive gain for his and his bands good future.
For example:
The fans are waiting for over 2 years for a new album or even a sign of new song....but NO! The only response we get is: I only want to release something when I am 100% certain that I am happy about it, I am a perfectionist, but I promise the fans that it will be another mind blowing album.
Tom loves to tease his fans, but in the same time wearing their patience....grrrrr...sigh...oke we will wait longer...

7. Have Bill as your little brother.
Bill is Toms identical twin brother.
Their bond is something special and he can't live without his baby brother.
They even live together in Los Angeles.
Tom always said that if something would ever happen to Bill he would not know how to live on.
Tom and Bill always said that they are one person, who share one mind.
Simply put. Have someone just like you always around you. To keep you balanced out.

8. Have awesome band members.
Georg and Gustav are the perfect bandmembers.
Georg Listing  ( Bassist ) and Gustav Schäfer ( Drummer ) have been there from the very first beginning of the band. And without them No Tokio Hotel.
The bond between the band members is unbreakable.
Tom would not admit it easily but he really loves his bandmembers as his closest friends.
Always when they are on tour they can't leave eachother alone. And Georg is Toms favorite victim for teasings. But in the meantime he really sees him as a close friend. Same as Gustav. They are like brothers. And as said, Without Georg and Gustav No Tokio Hotel.

9. Believe in yourself and your band.
Tom is 100% focused on his and his band carreer and he believes he can reach each goal they set.
Together as Tokio Hotel, as a band, as best friends, as a family.

10. Have awesome fans, who win the " Best FanArmy " award three years in a row, and keep on winning no matter what.
Yes it's true. Tokio Hotel has the best fans in the world.
Their fanbase is something special and unique.
It's more like a family, where everybody takes care for eachother and the band.
They're love for the band is almost similair to the bandmembers's .
To show their apreaciation to the fans. Tom and Bill created a special app for the smartphone.
With this app they can contact their own fans, directly, without anny press meddeling in.
Only Aliens get to see exclusive material from their beloved band.
And when it finally hits the news, the fans already know about it. And have the true feelings about it.
A special bond between you and the ones that brought you as where you are now.
